Tune in Tuesdays at 5pm!

This is Going Places. I originally created this radio show to learn more about fellow St. Norbert students: where they’ve traveled, adventures they’ve been on, and what motivates them to learn more about the world.

Now, I am expanding my show to hear new voices and perspectives. I want to learn more from people who may not be going to actual places, but who are going places in their careers and respective studies. I can’t wait to hear new stories and new perspectives!

This shift will include interviews from people outside of the St. Norbert community. I am aiming to bring new stories and perspectives to my listeners at SNC. This is going to be an adventure!

About Me

My name is Cara. I am an International Business and Spanish double major. I had a unique freshman year at St. Norbert. I did the Gap Experience, an experiential learning program where I spent time in different parts of the US and Guatemala, while taking college sociology, history, and leadership courses. My love of travel did not stopped there: I spent my spring semester in Valencia, Spain. I fell in love with Spanish culture, cuisine, and history while taking rigorous classes strictly taught in Spanish.

I created “Going Places” to learn more about my peers’ experiences, to meet people on campus, and to get travel advice from those who know best. Little did I know, St. Norbert is filled with unique global perspectives from students and faculty. I have interviewed Veteran-students, International-Students, and more!

When I am not interviewing interesting people, I play indie and alternative music. Many of the bands that I play are people I have seen live in concert.
